Biodiversity is the word used to describe the wonderful abundance of life on earth This biodiversity does a tremendous amount of work that is essential to humans and the health of our home planet... Earth. The tidal mudflats of Blomidon Beach are teaming with biodiversity: fascinating plants, animals and other organisms all doing very interesting and weird things. Come walk the beach, feel the mud between your toes and learn a bit about what’s underfoot and what you can do in 2012, in the United Nations International Decade of Biodiversity.
