Come one, come all, to Valleyview Provincial Park for a tea like no other. Participants will learn about edible plants found in Nova Scotia while preparing and sampling wild teas from plants found in the Acadian Forest. Orange pekoe tea will be provided for people who don’t enjoy herbal teas. There will be a brief talk about collecting etiquette, food safety and traditional uses, however this is mainly a hands-on, social event suitable for participants of all ages. Please bring your own mug and dress appropriately for the weather. Snacks will be provided. Sponsored by the NS Department of Natural Resources. Meet at the Park Office Building, event will take place outside, weather permitting. Pre-registration and confirmation are required to attend.
