10:45 am: Words of welcome by Stan Surette, president of Société Promotion Grand-Pré
11 am- Noon: Mass in French (under the large tent) presided by Father Maurice LeBlanc and Father Caissey of the Mission Ste-Famille from Dartmouth, and accompanied by Deacon Pierre Josse of France. Two choirs will join their voices for the mass: Voix d’Acadie and Mission Ste-Famille.
Musical entertainment:
1 pm-2 pm: The group UNISSON, from Baie Ste-Marie.
2:30 pm-3:30 pm: Monique Poirier (previously a member of Ode à l’Acadie)
2:05 pm-2:25 pm: Christophe Rivet of Parks Canada and manager of the Nomination Grand-Pré project, will deliver interesting information relating to Grand-Pré as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Meet near the blacksmith’s shop.
