Join Parks Canada in celebrating Mi’kmaw Heritage Day at Port-Royal National Historic Site on August 26th between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and experience Mi’kmaw traditions, history, drumming, song and lifestyle on special day highlighting Mi’kmaw culture. Sing a Mi’kmaw song, participate in a game of “waltes” and be certain to visit the wigwam.
