"Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink", have you ever thought about how much we rely on clean drinking water? Come to Valleyview Provincial Park for an interactive, hands-on session with Jason Parise, from the Nova Scotia Department of Environment. Jason will explain the important geological process of groundwater with the help of 3D hands-on watershed models. The models will clearly demonstrate the water cycle, where groundwater comes from, and how we negatively affect our groundwater supply. In addition to viewing the groundwater model, there will also be hands-on activities that make learning the water cycle easy and fun! Meet at the Parks Registration Office. Bring sneakers, water, and dress appropriately for the conditions. Pre-registration and confirmation are required to attend. For more information and to preregister contact Ian at (902) 584-2327.
