Herbal Adventures for Kids
A Fun and Natural Plant Exploration
with Clinical Herbalist Amanda Dainow

starts September 16 for 12 classes

In this class, we will make fun, tasty and healthy homemade treats and remedies, participate in fun herbal activities, indoors and outside.

Learn about gentle, safe herbs from the garden and field. Use the senses to experience/connect with plants through the seasons. Explore the elements through the seasons. Learn about the life cycle of plants.

All ages and abilities welcome.

Once a month, Sundays 10 am to noon

Parents are welcome to participate; classes are at the Singing Nettles Clinic in Burlington, where the kids can go through the garden and sniff and taste and learn about the plants, and cook with them. We also have a number of friendly farm animals, cats and dogs. The possibilities are endless.

Herbal Medicine is the world's oldest and most widely-used health system. Humans and animals have always used plants and have healed many ailments through using plants as food and medicine.

She is an accredited Clinical Herbalist and is Certified in Holistic Care for Companion Animals. She offers public workshops on Herbal Medicine and Natural Care for Animals. She has a full dispensary. Amanda also offers Reiki for people and animals.
Pricing & Tickets
Pricing: $220 for the year (12 classes-save $20), or $60 per quarter, or $20 per class. Bursaries available.
