Join us for a full day devoted to the Celtic frame drum known as "bodhran". At home in the pub, the kitchen party, the drumming circle or on stages around the world, this versatile instrument will be explored in three hands-on workshops featuring three dynamic instructors. All levels of drumming experience are welcome.
Celtic bodhran master MARK CURRIE and Montreal-based frame drum wizard PATRICK GRAHAM will join world percussionist KEN SHORLEY for this all-day feast of drumming! From traditional to contemporary, from the East Coast to the Middle East, this exciting day of workshops also includes a special concert featuring the day's three instructors.
