Landmark East School is hosting a free two evening workshop entitled “Parents as Career Coaches” April 2 and 4. The program is an initiative of the Province of Nova Scotia and features Alan Cuvelier of the Department of Community Services. It comes highly recommended by professional educators and parents alike.
This acclaimed program helps parents to engage in productive discussions with their teenager, to better understand today’s labour market and skills needed, to discover career websites and other resources to explore education and work options, and to help their child develop their skills and interests to assist them explore career choices.
