Dr. John Brock, a coastal mapping expert from the United States Geological Survey will be delivering a public presentation at the Centre for Geographic Sciences in Lawrencetown at noon this Thursday, May 9th entitled, “Lidar mapping to predict coastal hazards and protect coastal habitats in the USA” which will include discussion about Hurricane Sandy that affected the New England area last fall. All are encouraged to attend this interesting seminar brought to you by the Canadian Institute of Geomatics!
