The 51st Sheffield Mills Harvest Fair.
The fair kicks off with the children’s parade at 12:00 (registration at 11:30).
The Bob Deveau band will provide musical entertainment from 12:30 – 3:00. Bob plays easy listening hits that people of all ages enjoy.
Next up at 3:00 PM prominent members of the moo-nicipality will compete in our 4th annual goat milking contest (we actually have a goat this year not a cow).
A 1/2 chicken BBQ supper with all the fixins will be served from 3:30 – 5:30. The chicken is prepared by the Canning Fire Department and is a taste to behold. Take-out orders will be available.
Be sure to come to our country store and bake table early in the afternoon so you don’t miss out on a bounty of fresh vegetables and tasty treats at unbeatable prices.
All day events include horse and wagon rides, children’s games, horse shoe tournament and petting zoo. A canteen will be available for much of the day to provide food and refreshments. Mark your calendars and come to Sheffield Mills for a day filled with music, fun, food and silliness!
