The Second Annual Valley Hope Classic in support of the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Nova Scotia. The Hope Classic is a 5 or 10 km walk/wheel/run with all proceeds from registration going to help those with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.
Eighty percent of funds raised stay in the province to support the organizations programs, such as the Computer Fund, Special Needs Fund, Education Award, Camp Tidnish Fund, and Recreation Fund. The rest of funds raised go to the National organization to support research and other initiatives to aid those living with Spina Bifida.
Registration and race kit pick up for the Valley Hope Classic will start at 9:30am, with the actual event starting at 10:30am. The route for the walk/wheel/run will take place along the trails in Kentville. You can either register onsite or online at www.runningroom.com. There will be prizes to be won!
So how can you help? Come out and participate or volunteer for the walk/wheel/run. Go out in your community and fundraise by gathering pledges to participate. Tell your friends to come out and enjoy a fun filled day in support of a great cause.
