This solo exhibition presents the work of Nova Scotia folk artist Barry Colpitts. He began carving in 1989 and currently lives in Tangiers in a house that reflects his artistic pursuits. This exhibition explores two central themes: the role of humour and the role of personal biography. The exhibition presents earlier work such as ox yokes, to the standing women that were put on his house, to recent larger multi-piece creations.
