Wednesday August 20, 2014 1pm - 9:30pm (8 Hours 30 Minutes)
14 Wing will open its gates to the public for many displays and events including the Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds & CF-18 Demonstration Teams, other flying demonstrations and many static displays on the ground. There will be food vendors on site and entertainment for the kids. The day culminates with the Sunset Ceremony starting at 6:30 p.m. which features the 14 Wings Bands, the Royal Canadian Navy Stadacona Band, the Bridgewater Fire Dept. Band, the Nova Scotia Highlanders, the RCMP Pipes & Drums, the 12 Wing Shearwater Pipes & Drums and the Halifax Citadel 78th Highlanders. It will be a great show and please bring a chair!
