Friends of the Margaretsville Lighthouse Society is hosting a Hodge Podge Dinner with guest speaker
Mike Parker.
Department of Fisheries (DFO) will have the lighthouse open to public from 4-5 just prior to the dinner and there will be a brief update from Society regarding securing the lighthouse from DFO. Dinner will be served from 5-6 and following the dinner at 6:30 will be a presentation by author Mike Parker "Deep Woods Tales Tall and True". Mike is a research associate at SMU for over 25 years and published more thatn 14 books. Free will offering in support of the Margaretsville LIghthouse with Scotiabank matching donations to save this wonderful heritage structure from being replaced/destroyed.
