Art in the Quad: Four Directions Heart Experience
with items found during Earth Walk Workshop with Ecologist & Welkaqnik Poet, Shalan Joudry.
Meet at the Reception Desk in the Fountain Commons Great Hall. The Walk will be lead through the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens, with particular attention to the Native Bed, and along the woodland trails to look at the student earthworks created by Acadia Art students. These students and professor Judith Leidl will participate in the walk and gather materials to create a natural art installation in the Quad after the walk. Public participation welcome.
In case of inclement weather, this event will be adapted into an indoor learning circle in the Fountain Commons.
