The Newport United Church (Next to Shirley's Pizza) is doing a winter outerwear collection. Any gently used outdoor wear will be accepted from scarves, hats and mittens to boots, snow pants and coats. People will be at the church from noon to 4:00 pm to collect donations. Of you do not have outerwear to donate and would like to help out we will accept donations which we will then use to purchase gently used outerwear items. Items collected will then be distributed throughout our community where there is a need. Thanks to all who are able to help us out with this project!
