Explore your creativity by making a sculpture with soft materials. Ingredients such as fleece, yarn, and other textiles will be incorporated into your project. Various techniques and processes will be demonstrated, including dry felting, wool binding and cotton moulding. Stiffening agents are introduced as an option for hardening your work. All materials and processes are non-toxic. The effects of textile processes on our environment will be discussed.

Anne Pickard is an interdisciplinary artist, whose work spans drawing, fashion, installation,
mixed media, performance, sculpture, textiles and written word. Anne has been an instructor and fashion technician at NSCAD University since 2002 and continues her professional practice in art, film, television and performance.
