According to statistics compiled by Media Badger, a Bedford social intelligence firm, Twitter adoption among Atlantic Canadians is between 67 and 76 percent. As the proliferation of social media continues, businesses are realizing their customers increasingly want to be able to communicate with them via Twitter and Facebook. While many companies are solidly engaged in one or more networks, smaller businesses are often missing the finer points of how to use Facebook and Twitter to promote their products and services.
