Charles William Macdonald was known as a seaman, labourer, manufacturer and artist at the turn of the last century. Little known though, was his skill in photography. The Charles Macdonald Concrete House is exhibiting his photographs of Havana, Cuba in 1898, a pivotal point in the island's history. It was the year the USS Maine exploded in Havana Harbour, igniting the Spanish American War. Exhibiting from June 27 to August 26.
