A Mi'kmaq Mawio'mi is a gathering of people for various purposes. The aim of this year’s Mawio'mi is to recognize the healing potential of the arts, and to learn other ways of being, thinking, & learning, with a focus on the question: How do we co-exist in a just & peaceful way?

This is a community-campus event, so everyone wishing to explore our theme question is welcome to join in and participate.

The Mawio'mi has its official opening on Sunday, but there are various events happening, including the lighting of the sacred fire, on Friday & Saturday as well, at the KC Irving Centre as well as the Wolfville Farmers' Market on Saturday..

Events are subject to change. Check the web site for the most up-to-date schedule.
