Please join us at Valleyview Provincial Park for an free introduction to Geocaching and hike. Drive up the mountain on Hampton Mountain Road from Bridgetown, Nova Scotia for approx. 3 km take a right and head for the look off. Park your vehicle at the look-off and a short walk will lead you to the event.
We will have a limited number of free GPS units available for people to sign out, if they do not have their own. Instructions and demonstrations will be available so that people can learn about geocaching.
There will be some demonstration caches placed around the picnic park for people to try their hand at caching but still be close enough to "base camp" to get help if it is necessary.
