The Blue Beach Fossil Museum Society extends an invitation for you to join us at a Reception.
Do you have a passion for or fascination with Paleontology, Geology, the Ocean or the Beach? Perhaps an interest in increasing Tourism dollars and creating jobs locally? Maybe you enjoy methods of Preservation or Conservation? Have you ever wondered how we are all connected to fossils that are found all over the World? Well, Blue Beach has the missing link and its about time more Nova Scotians and the rest of the World get a closer look. Over 90,000 pounds of fossils have been retrieved off the Beach and each one with their own story. However, most of that collection is in storage, with the rest displayed in the small, home-based Blue Beach Fossil Museum. A 'new' Paleo-Centre is not only a way to display this amazing world-class collection but also an education center too. It will have so much to offer the public for people of all ages. Come out to hear our presenters and mingle with like minded individuals while enjoying food and drink at our public meet and greet.
