Coming from the German tradition, this event rejoices in the light that St. Martin brought (brings) into the world and will be celebrated through brass music; a short dramatization of St. Martin’s story; and sharing hot chocolate with specially produced, bishop-shaped bread from Saraj Bakery in New Minas.
Bring a candle-lit lantern to light the way as we walk around the reservoir in the dark and then gather at the end to sing a little more and eat together. Lanterns are easy to make at home from a mason jar, tea light and wire. Meet at the Pleasant Street parking area.
