Berwick Gala Days event:
MacDonnell is most “famous” recently for his “Frenchies” song, describing what many of us love to do: root through the used clothing bins at the popular store for finds and deals of all shapes and sizes. MacDonnell has a handful of previous CD recordings, and performs a range of country/ folk music, with a smattering of his Celtic roots. Much of his music he writes himself, and also covers well-known classics by artists including Stan Rogers and Ian Tyson.
