Probiotics (beneficial bacteria) are a hot topic these days, with numerous articles appearing in the popular press as well as research literature. Research on the link between the gut microbiome (all the bacteria and other microbes that inhabit the gut) and health/disease has uncovered many interesting findings. This talk from Acadia's Dr. Susan Potter will discuss the interplay between the gut microbiome, nutrition, and health, with a focus on mental health, and the potential beneficial impact of probiotics.
