Awareness Walk - 1 km through downtown Wolfville
2 pm start
Going the Distance Run / Walk, two 5 km routes,
randomly assigned, 1:30 pm start
Route 1 - runs along the dykelands, with an elevation change of 10 metres.
Route 2 - starts out from the same place, but quickly diverges to follow trails to Reservoir Park, with an elevation change of 75 metres.
All routes start at the same place, but then, much like life, things change.
People with health challenges, including mental illness, sometimes find that stigma on the road that they must take leaves behind friends and has some steep hills.
The same 5 km distance varies in difficulty, but both are beautiful in their own way.
All money raised will support mental health initiatives here in Kings County.
