In the three-hour beginner workshop, participants will learn how to create mandala dot paintings. I will share techniques I've developed and the special tools I've collected to create my pieces. All materials will be supplied during the workshop and a handbook, along with your paintings, if yours to take home.
We begin painting on 4" by 4" tiles made of wood and prepped black by me. As the first layer on this piece dries, participants are welcome to paint on a rock, beginning a second project. There will be time to paint a second layer on the first project and most participants will finish this mandala completely. It can easily be turned into a refrigerator magnet with the magnet strips I provide or protected at home with a coating to be used then as a coaster.
The intent of this workshop is for participants to walk away with all the knowledge and confidence to continue their own mandala dot painting journey.
Participating in this workshop contributes to the global giving, with a portion of profits designated for mailing Travelling Kindness Rocks.
