Sue Smith is a singer, songwriter, performer, writer and teacher.

Sue’s debut solo album, “I’m So”, is a collection of 11 new, original songs written and recorded over the period Nov. ‘03 -Oct. ‘05. Taking inspiration from northern landscape, blue whale acoustics, singing classes with Peg Evans, and an intensive period of dance studies, Sue created a collection of songs examining the magnetics of relationships; the desire that evolves a greeting, the experience that necessitates a goodbye and reflection on the memories of these acts; hellos, goodbyes and, always, love. “I’m So” will be released in May, 2006.

Sue is Artistic Director of the Season Singers, a children’s performing arts troupe for which she has written and produced, to date, 14 original plays.

Sue spent ten years as a part of the acclaimed vocal trio, The Bird Sisters, recording and touring original music across Canada and throughout the U.S., receiving warm welcomes across the land, a healthy radio response and critical acclaim for artistic achievement.

Sue has worked as a collaborator/performer for fifteen years with video/performance artist Nora Hutchinson., touring shows across Canada, performing live and in video productions. Sue has collaborated with choreographer/dancer Karen Kaeja , as composer, singer and performer.

Sue is a dedicated music educator with a vibrant teaching studio. She is co-founder of Sonic Playground , a musical adventure for children which combines music and learning with fun.

Sue is a co-founder of Guelph’s amazing Hillside Festival .

Teresa Ennis now lives in Nova Scotia. Originally from St. John's, Newfoundland, she has performed in a group with her sisters, The Ennis Sisters, for over 10 years.

Teresa had been recording some songs since the summer of 2006, just for fun, as time allowed between work with her sisters and the group. Now with 12 songs complete, and the Ennis Sisters on hiatus, she is releasing the results this September on a new CD called, "Space", recorded with her good friend - producer, Joel Hunt.

The new CD features versions of several songs, both new and old, that were heard in and around social activities with friends. "We would hear a tune on the radio, or a favorite song on the CD player", says Teresa, "and someone's ears would perk-up... 'we ought to give that one a go'". The recording was done in a comfortable and relaxed setting in the livingroom of Joel's rural Nova Scotian home - with tracks recorded between kayaking on the lake, cooking meals, and watching Hockey Night in Canada. Listen close and you can hear crickets from an open window, a fire cracking in the stove, and the dogs clicking across a wooden floor.

"Space" features some songs you might remember - from an upbeat bluegrassy take on the Electric Light Orchestra's 1975 hit, "Can't Get It Out of My Head" to a spirited cover of Bruce Cockburn's "Going To The Country" as well as a new original tune by Teresa, "Under The Moon", and Joel's song, "Space". Teresa's lead and backing vocals are at their most beautiful on the folk standard "I've Endured", and her playful harmonies highlight Pete Townshend's "Blue Red and Grey". Also included are songs originally written and recorded by: Jackson Browne, "Song For Adam", Supertramp's "Downstream", The Eagles' "Train Leaves Here", Ronnie Lane's "Annie", Gary Scruggs' "Lowlands", and a French Acadian ballad by Ron Bourgeois, "Ma Jolie".
