Acadia University's Public History students are presenting a public exhibit in the Vaughan Memorial Library from November 22 until December 2, 2016. The featured research will be some of the untold stories of the experiences of Canadian minorities in World War One.
In addition, students will be giving talks about their research on Friday, December 2 at 1:30pm in the Quiet Reading Room of the Vaughan Memorial Library.
The exhibit has been constructed under the guidance of Dr. Gillian Poulter of the Department of History & Classics, and will include exhibits on individual members of the No.2 Construction Battalion, Black soldiers who served in other battalions, Indigenous soldiers, and women’s role in the Great War.
ALL ARE WELCOME to visit the exhibit
Nov 22-Dec 2 or to attend the presentations on Dec 2.
