Event in Room: Classroom (lower level)

Join the English Language Centre as we explore the topic of building connections through language learning. First, we will hear how intercultural connections are fostered through the Homestay Program. We will hear first-hand from a host parent and homestay student about the joys and challenges of sharing your home with someone from a different culture. Next, we will talk about the cognitive connections formed through language learning. We will answer the question "why should I bother learning a second language at my age?"

This free Brown Bag Lunch is offered by Acadia Lifelong Learning.
