The BIG CHILL is once again set to happen in the beautiful Annapolis Valley!
The BIG CHILL is a snowshoe event in support of the Lawrencetown Education Centre (LEC) and Nova Scotia’s “at risk” youth.
Last year we raised over $25,000 to help the students that attend LEC experience their education in the fullest capacity. Many of these students don't learn in the "traditional" methods and are taken on back country over night trips, attend museums, and achieve personal growth at various fitness events. Let's help these students reach their fullest potential.
Who: Anyone can register and join us.
What: 5KM, 15KM, 30KM snowshoe events.
Where: Our start line is on Twin Oaks Road, in Middleton, NS.
Fundraising Requirement: 5KM requires a $300 minimum. The 15KM and 30KM require a $500 minimum.
Why: Help us support the LEC students and their experiential learning program.
