On Feb 4th at 1:45pm everyone is invited to Martock, Ski Wentworth and areas across Canada to make snow angels and help us break the Guinness World Record for making the most snow angels at the same time in multiple locations. Over 50 ski hills and resorts will be participating in the attempt. Everyone is welcome, no skiing necessary. We are hoping to break the current record of 15, 851 and need your help to do it!
“We wanted to do something huge to celebrate Canadian Ski Patrol’s 75th anniversary this year,” said Canadian Ski Patrol president and chief executive officer, Colin Saravanamuttoo. The CSP is Canada’s largest volunteer-based first responder organization. In the past 75 years, 100,000 Canadians have volunteered for and received advanced first aid training from the Canadian Ski Patrol.
Today, 4,500 volunteers offer services to more than 220 ski areas from coast to coast, including alpine and Nordic. CSP members also provide advanced first aid and medical support to a long list of sporting and special events across the country throughout the year.
