The DragonTail Series is a contemporary fantasy set mainly within western Canada, primarily Alberta and British Columbia, with some international locales as well. The history of its settings is not overlooked, while Calgary is the home base for the protagonist of the story; regions on the East Coast of Canada, Hessen of Germany, and other international settings all feature. Nova Scotia's Blomidon Park is the setting of the climax in Book 3 -- DragonTongue: Riddles Revealed, -- with Wolfville and Halifax featuring briefly. Being projected as a four-part set, the series was originally labeled for ages 9-12, but has proven an enjoyment for readers of all ages.
J. Neven-Pugh (pronounced " Nevven-Pew") is a Canadian author who has been self-published since high school. Passionate about the written word and inspired by life, history, and nature, Neven-Pugh's work focuses on the importance of family, friends, culture, imagination, and heritage.
