Workshop / Class
A Drawing Workshop with Emma FitzGerald. Drawing can be intimidating; all that space on a white page. This workshop will challenge students to draw with confidence, without reaching for an eraser. It will also open their eyes to new ways to find subject matter to draw, and new ways of letting go of having the end result be 'perfect'. The overall message is that drawing is fun, and we can learn about ourselves and the world around us by doing it.
Emma FitzGerald is the Author of Hand Drawn Halifax, "Sketch by Sketch Along Nova Scotia's South Shore", and illustrated "EveryBody's Different on EveryBody Street" by Sheree Fitch.
Ages 10 - 16. Registration is required.
Made possible in part by a grant from the Department of Communities, Culture, and Heritage
