Join us in the gallery for a preview of Tacha Reed's exhibit of recent works, as a part of Culture Days.
Over the last year Tacha has drastically altered her felting process to incorporate a wet felting stage, allowing for a freer and less inhibiting form of expression. Her most recent works are a response to the abandoned turbine that sits on the floor of the Minas Basin. This series of death portraits of the local aquatic species are beautiful and haunting; a reminder that we are responsible for the well being of not only ourselves but the earth, air, water and all life that surrounds us.
Join us in the gallery where Tacha will be demonstrating her unique felting process. Exhibit continues throughout the weekend.
