This event is to raise money for persons living with spinal cord injuries in the Annapolis Valley area. 80% of the money raised goes to persons living with spinal cord injuries in the community in which the money is raised. The other 20% goes to the Rick Hansen Institute for spinal cord research.
Registration for the wheelchair challenge teams will take place at 12pm (noon)-12:30pm, wheel/walk from 12:30pm-1:45pm, family fun, and entertainment 1:45-3pm along with the wheelchair challenge taking place from 2pm-3pm.
If you are interested in collecting individual donations or entering a team of five into the wheelchair challenge that day you can go online to www.wheelsinmotion.org.
