All are welcome to this festive afternoon of music, dancing and Christmas shopping! Sahara Jane brings beautiful handmade jewellery, handwoven woolen shawls and silk scarves from India. She will set up in the foyer of the lovely Bishop Hall while local musician and DJ Ken Shorley (known as DJ zhorli) will mix some groovy beats and keep the dance floor hopping! You can come to dance, to listen, and to browse the beautiful display of textiles and jewellery from India for sale.
Entrance to this family-friendly afternoon event is free. There will be a donation jar for the children of DARE Varanasi, an organization which helps street children in India, and 10% of sales goes to them as well. Also, there are tax-deductible receipts available if needed.
