As a project for the course Playing and Hearing Music 3 (MUSI 2793, instructed by Jeff Torbert, at Acadia University), the Acadia music students are putting on a fundraising concert for the Tribe Projects.
The Tribe Projects is a small group of volunteers living in Izmir, Turkey, supporting the 4 million Syrian refugees living there.
To fundraise for the concert, the class is hosting a few events, including a coffee house and silent auction at Just Us Cafe Wolfville and we invite you all to attend. Some of the items up for bids include: There will be amazing items and gift certificates available for bids including a $100 gift certificate to The Church Brewing company, a beautiful blanket scarf from Casa Bella, a six-person pass for a tasting at Annapolis Cider Company, and much more!
