Beginner Swing: Intro to Charleston
Sunday May 26, 2019  1:30pm - 4:30pm (3 Hours )
Music Dance Workshop / Class Recreation / Fitness Health / Wellness Family Friendly Community

For those of you who have already taken a few Lindy Hop and/or swing dance classes. Now what? Let's do the Charleston!

It may sell out, so you are encouraged to register as soon as possible:

The Charleston first started off as a chilled way to dance to faster music. It began with a simple twist of the feet, but, over the years, as people added some flair, it turned into what is now known as 40s Charleston, where your legs go high, low, to, and fro!

We'll teach you the basics in a 3-hour workshop.

This class is recommended to participants who have some understanding of partner connection and can do basic swing dance moves in 6 & 8 counts.

Also, bring some comfy shoes and water!

Childcare is available for an additional fee. Please contact Selah in advance, so that we can make the necessary arrangements:
