This crowd pleasing event is sponsored by the Lions Clubs of Kingston, Middleton, Lawrencetown and the Community of Port George.
The 37th Anniversary of the PORT GEORGE COUNTRY JAMBOREE takes place rain or shine.
Gates open at 7:00 am.
Pancake breakfast from 7-9 am and the “giant” All Day Flea Market (200 tables ) starts at 7:00 am.
10 hours of fantastic “live country music” by local artists starts at 9:00 am.
Performing at the Port George Country Jamboree is a Valley featured singer/songwriter Matt Balsor.
After close to two decades in the music business, award-winning recording artist Matt Balsor has released 12 studio albums, made various radio and television appearances, and performed in concert with Grand Ole Opry star Larry Gatlin, Canadian country music legend Carroll Baker and many other Hall of Fame inductees.
Proving to be versatile, his country and gospel music has been played on radio throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia.
While listening to the various performers you can enjoy fabulous food like fish & chips, strawberry shortcake, lobster rolls, fruit smoothies or just a hamburger or hotdog.
Watch the little ones having fun riding the “kiddie train”. Kids can enjoy “Face Painting”, “The Duck Pond” and our “Lolly Pop Pull” for prizes.
Supper 4-6 pm.
