Wednesday night our special guest is phenomenal instrumentalist and singer-songwriter CALEB MILES. Caleb joined his first rock’n’roll band at the age of fifteen then performed in various groups throughout the 80’s and early 90’s. He pursued his musical education by digging into the folk and blues roots of rock ’n’ roll and applying what he heard to his playing and songwriting. His rich musical tastes enable him to perform old blues and country, acoustic folk-pop to electric gutbucket blues, dive into a Buddy Holly tune or a Led Zeppelin/Frank Zappa medley, while sprinkling original tunes throughout. Caleb has produced CDs for many local artists, opened for well-known artists such as Harry Manx, Ron Hynes, Corb Lund, and others. He’s shared stages with Charles Bradley, Garrett Mason, and Matt Andersen and, with The Hupman Brothers Band, won the 2010 ECMA for Best Blues Recording and 2011 Music N.S Best Blues Album.
