The Canning Kitchen Party is thrilled to celebrate the bounty of Kings County with Taproot Farms! Technically they're in Port Williams but their organic fields full of delicious food spread all the way up to Canning. The Taproot folks are cooking up a feast of Jamaican jerk pork, corn on the cob and salads, followed by Heather Kelday and Ida Red tunes in the events tunnel, and a campfire jam too. Noggins hard cider samples will be for sale, as well. YUM! This show is $25 for food and music, and $10 for kids 12 and under.
Physical tickets are available at
Noggins Corner Farm Market - 10009 Hwy 1 Greenwich NS
and TapRoot Farms office - 451 Canard Street

Heather Kelday is a musical force with a powerful voice, and beautiful songwriting inspired by the wild nature that surrounds us. She will play a set and then Ida Red will join her for a good ol' hoe-down with a rowdy set of old-time fiddle & banjo tunes, with Heather and Kim Barlow on banjos and guitars, Amy Lounder on fiddle, and Peter Williams on stand-up bass, and lots of singing of harmonies! There will be a campfire jam after the show, so feel free to bring a song or an instrument to share.
