Friday September 20, 2019 3:30pm - 11pm (7 Hours 30 Minutes)
Music Dance Culinary / Wine Community
xrns@riseup.net
902 412 7908
Doors open at 3pm
Join us for music, singing, food and dancing. We will begin with songwriters Kim Barlow and Terra M Spencer leading us in co-writing new songs of hope and inspiration to kick off a week of global climate action. We're going to perform these songs we write together, and record them. No worries...you won't be on stage by yourself. Thanks to Tim Fisk for helping with doing the recording! We'll follow the songwriting workshop with a Fall Harvest Supper being coordinated by Duncan Ebata - Thanks Duncan and friends! We'll then dance the night away to the music of the Melberns. There's no better way to bring light to a struggle than to talk about it, break bread, and then dance to music of the 60's, 70's, and 80's.
We'll have a chance to share our thoughts and hopes, write and perform new songs together, enjoy good food, and dance. Join us and share the joy that we have for this planet, this valley and the people who live here, and contribute a positive kick-off to a week of climate action throughout Nova Scotia and around the world.
