Shed the back to school blues by coming to Sheffield Mills for our annual harvest fair to be held this year. Registration for the children's parade starts at 10:30am at the community hall. The theme for the parade is "a day at the zoo". After the parade there will be horse and wagon rides, face painting, a bounce house, children's games and archery shooting. Also watch out for Bob who will be tying balloon animals and providing musical entertainment.

For adults our country store will be open where you may purchase all manner of fresh produce, a bake table and wine tasting provided by Blomidon and Muir Murray estate wineries.

We also have a competitive events this year including a tire roll, tug of war, fireman's carry, 2x4 toss, horseshoe tournament and a cow milking competition. These events will take place between 12:30 and 3:00pm.

The goods and services auction begins at 3:00pm and this year we welcome as our celebrity auctioneer, MLA for Kings North, Mr. Jim Morton. The day concludes with a chicken BBQ supper between followed by an evening concert at featuring the rockabilly group Blueprint and Canning's own Laura Roy. We hope to see you at the fair for a fun filled day!
