Stan Carew has been the well-known host of CBC radio’s Weekend Mornings since 1997, the latest (and, he hopes, final) stop on a stellar broadcasting career that began in 1968.
Stan is also an actor and musician. His acting credits include Trudeau, Made in Canada and Trailer Park Boys, as well as movies featuring Harrison Ford, Sissy Spacek, James Caan and Cybill Shepherd. Stan and his current band The Magpies perform at concert venues throughout the Maritimes.
