For the past 29 years, the Eagle Watch Festival in Sheffield Mills has brought thousands of wildlife enthusiasts together during the dead of winter as upwards of 70 magnificent birds can be present during the morning feedings. After watching them in action and speaking with the main feeder, we'll get fed as well with a locally-sourced pancake breakfast.
Following the Eagle Watch Festival we'll stay on the north side of the river to visit a brand new brewery and a wonderful winery. Extra special for these two weekends is a stop at the Holly Carr & Alan Bateman Art Gallery for a small chat, local treats, and a brief walk up the base of the North Mountain. If needed, snowshoes will be provided*.
Chances are we'll see plenty of eagles throughout the day, for they too know Where It's At!
