Ishmael Beah, author of 'A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier', will be speaking on behalf of the Child Soldiers Initiative, a project created and led by Lieutenant General the Honourable Romeo Dallaire, which focuses on preventing the recruitment and use of child soldiers, as well as his own journey from child soldier to vocal world-renowned activist.
