Students will design a bespoke 6" hoop on linen.
We'll cover:
- hand embroidery basics, including 5 stitches
- applique with local grown/produced linen and wool fibres
- how to incorporate personal mementos, and treasures and textures from nature.
A two hour class. Students will receive a basic hand embroidery kit (linen, hoop, needles, sampler fabric, threads) in a winter colour theme, a delicious variety of TapRoot fibres, and upcycled fabric remnants to get your design inspiration started!
