As part of this 4-week hands-on class, you will learn rhythms and songs from West Africa. You will learn drumming technique for playing the djembe (a goblet-shaped drum) as well as call, breaks and basic arrangements.
Instruction provided by Bruno Allard with Djugdjug Ensemble. No prior experience is needed, and the class is for all levels. Drums (specifically djembes) are provided.
