Lecture / Seminar Meeting / Club Wheelchair Accessible
kings.photography.club@gmail.com
Doors open at 6:30pm
Event in Room: A106
Join us this for the May meeting of the Kings County Photography Club, with featured guest speaker Colin Chase. This will be our first physical meeting since 2020, and we'd love to see everyone in person again! New and prospective members are welcome.
Colin Chase is one of the founding members of the Tides Contemporary Art Gallery in Kentville and a member of viewPoint Gallery in Halifax. Colin will share his journey as a largely self-taught photographer and how that has intertwined with a life spent in the Valley. Colin is a longtime teacher who also mentors other photographers, and we think this presentation should encourage us to consider our relationships with the Valley and with our photography.
We'll also review members' entries for our April assignment, "Find a Number", and introduce the May assignment topic.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:
Masks are strongly encouraged but not mandatory, and depending on the size of our audience, we encourage members to try to practice some degree of social distancing. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available.
